Position: Mig Welder
Function:
To build frames using a mig welding process. To assemble and sometimes fabricate all parts in production of various trailer styles & sizes immediately ready to be prepared and finished into a final quality product. Under the direction and coaching of a supervisor they are responsible for the welding of plate, forgings mild and galvanized with thickness ranging from 1/16 inches to 1/2 inches. A mig welding process is used on a variety of materials including low alloy steels.
Responsibilities:
Welder is also responsible to note discrepancies or errors on the blueprints/drawings and then bring them immediately to the Supervisor's attention to ensure accuracy. Welder is responsible to ensure that welds are completed to quality standards. Involves preventative maintenance of welding equipment.
Qualifications:
Reading, understanding and applying blueprints and/or drawings is required. Reviewing blueprints and drawings to meet quality standards is necessary.NOTE: Only individual’s selected for an interview will be contacted. Please do not call inquiring about application status.
