Southland delivered the first of a line of custom made flowback tanks for NewKota Services. Southland worked closely with Newkota to design and fabricate this highly specialized piece of oil industry equipment.

Flowback tanks hold the used fluid that returns or flows back from the well after fracturing. This tank is designed to allow for the retention and measurement of well stream liquids during flowback. The flowback tank allows the operator to turn well flow into the tank for CO2, energized fluids, and acid.

The transfer of the tank took two heavy duty cranes and was transferred onto a flatdeck.
