| Southland Trailers, located on 1405 - 41st. Avenue North, Lethbridge, Alberta, has been a manufacturer of quality built products for over twenty years. Southland Trailers offers a complete line of steel and aluminum livestock trailers and quality horse trailers.
Southland Trailers began in 1980 manufacturing camper trailer frames in a 3000 square foot shop. Four years later, with the demands for the product rising, the company expanded the operations. Within one year the company was forced to again increase the size of the operations to meet those needs.
In 1989, Lethbridge Truck Equipment was amalgamated with Southland and the company was moved to its current location. In 1995 an additional 10,000 square feet were added to the facility to handle the ever-increasing sales and production demands.
Again in 1999 an expansion of over 20,000 square feet was necessary, bringing the total size of the current facility to 70,000 square feet covering over 12 acres of land in Lethbridge, AB.
Southland Trailers continues to offer the same quality built products today as they have in the past. This commitment to quality will allow Southland Trailers to grow and expand in the future.
In 2002, Southland Trailer Corp was honoured by the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce by being selected as Business of the Year in the Manufacturing Category. |
