Transporting Your Needs

The Southland High Boy trailers are built for strength and dependability. Extra consideration goes into building these trailers insuring that they will be able to meet customer's needs now and down the road. For strength these units use an I-beam main frame and channel cross members. For dependability all the lighting is rubber mounted and recessed, wiring is protected and the axles are rubber ride.

All safety requirements are met or exceeded and Southland constantly monitors change to ensure continued compliance.

Beaver Tail w/Flip Up Centre & Ramps
On the 24' highboys the extra five feet of beaver tail can be converted to working deck length by this feature. The flip up center is easy to use, constructed out of steel checkerplate for strength.

Gooseneck Tool Basket
For convenience a tool basket constructed of steel mesh is located in the A-Frame of the Gooseneck. This tool basket is perfect for storing alternate coupler stems, tie downs and additional trailer accessories.

Optional Double Jacks
Two 10,000 lb jacks provide stability to the unit when at rest. To aid with hook up and disengaging of unit from the tow unit, the jacks are spring loaded for quick retraction/deployment.
