Position: Prep and Trim

Function: The purpose of this job is to prepare the unit for the paint booth. It is vital to the quality of the finished product that excess slag be removed from the trailers, that the metal surfaces be sanded and washed and that the open seams be siliconed. These activities ensure that the units are attractive and able to withstand inclement climatic conditions.

Responsibilities:

• The workers in the Prep & Trim line have the responsibility to pay attention to detail in order to ensure that the final paint process can in fact be done well.
• The workers in the Prep & Trim line have the responsibility to promptly advise the Lead Hand when they discover flaws which must be rectified.

Qualifications:

• Able to perform General Labour
